NJ State Fair 2014

Every year that the NJ State Fair comes along, it brings back fond memories of the first time hubby and I first went as a dating couple visiting friends in NJ.  The last time we went, lil P was the exact same age that baby T was this past weekend when we went (15 months)!
how rare are these family photos!
Hubby got off early on Friday so we booked it to the Meadowlands and at 6 p.m. it was empty!  The kids and hubby got hand stamps for unlimited rides and it was so worth it.  Each ride is $4-5 dollars and being the nerdy couple we are, we kept tab of how many rides the kids went on.  If we had paid per ride, we would have spent nearly $250 just in rides.  Because it was still early in the evening, there were no lines for the kids and they just kept going on one ride after another.

The kids seriously had a blast. Penny had the biggest smile on her face the whole time.  Baby T even got a couple turns on the carousel.
rides galore!

After the kids had enough of the rides, they wanted to play some games.  Big L actually won this Pikachu all by himself playing a water shooting game.  The parents were not allowed to help so he was so proud when the siren in his lane started to go off.  And he won this lamb for Lil P popping a balloon with a ball.

No visit to the fair would be complete without some carnival food...a jumbo bag of cotton candy, cheese fries with bacon, corn dogs, funnel cake and a $6 lemonade to top it all off...

The time flew by.  Five hours later, after watching a motorcycle stunt show and some pig races, we headed home with 2 kids already passed out and one wired from all the sugar.  Luckily on the drive home, the third one passed out!  What a great night!
