Dinosaurs at NJCM

Today we visited the NJ Children's Museum for Dinosaur Weekend through our family membership to Kids Club THIRTEEN, which gives members free access to 13 events in the NY/NJ area throughout the year.  This was our first free event and was perfectly timed because "L" has recently developed quite an interest in dinosaurs.

The kids met Buddy from Dinosaur Train...

They had several activities and crafts for the members.  The kids got tattoos, made fossils, made triceratops hats, traced dinosaur skeletons using pasta, watched a dinosaur play, and completed a scavenger hunt for a prize.

 Then we just spent some time enjoying the hands-on exhibits in the museum.

It was a busy morning and wore the kids out for nice long naps!
